The COVID-19 infection has taken the world by storm.

However, do not fear! Having MS does not put you at a greater risk. Just be a little careful

and it will be smooth sailing until all of this is behind us!

            Tips for keeping safe
             Practice 'social distancing'

 Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand rub
 Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth unless your hands are clean
 Try to keep at least 6 feet or about 2 meters of distance between yourself and others,

particularly those who are coughing and sneezing
 When coughing and sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with a flexed elbow or tissue

 Practice food safety by using different chopping boards for raw meat and cooked foods
and wash your hands between handling them
             Avoid public gatherings
             Avoid using public transport

 Where possible, use alternatives to face-to-face routine medical appointments (for
                example, telephone appointments)

Discuss with your doctor regarding your ongoing medications for MS. Do not stop your
medication abruptly without speaking to your doctor. They will know what is best for you.

Spend quality time with your family
and find creative ways to keep busy!
